OverviewInstitute Overview
Established in 1782, and occupying 120 acres, Washington College (WC), located just 90 minutes from Baltimore, Washington, and Philadelphia, is a private, liberal arts college that offers 25 academic majors leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. The student to teacher ratio of 12:1 and average class size of 17 allow for close intellectual relationships between students and faculty members. WC students explore a range of disciplines concentrated on a major academic program, complete a significant independent project and participate broadly in activities outside the classroom.
