Program Overview
The Lubin School of Business at Pace University (Pace) offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with eight areas of concentration. Lubin also offers Master of Science (MS) programs with five specialties. The Lubin School of Business is professionally accredited for both business and accounting by AACSB International, an elite distinction shared by fewer than 3% of business schools in the world. All Lubin programs reflect current business practices and incorporate an international focus. Students have the opportunity to integrate new technology with practical experience. Experienced faculty uses teaching methods such as lectures, conferences, case studies, team teaching, group projects and computer simulations. The school limits class sizes to offer a student-centered focus. Classes are available to meet the needs of both full-time and part-time students. The eMBA@PACE is an executive MBA program that combines online study and in-classroom residencies. The MBA Program Lubin's Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree program prepares students for the business opportunities of the 21st century. It provides the skills and tools necessary for success in today's complex, global business environment. MBA degree requirements can be met after earning 52 credits or 16 courses. The content of the core curriculum reflects the emerging business conditions students will successfully manage after graduation. MBA students begin the program with eight courses designed to teach business fundamentals and strong analytical skills. At the next level of study, students select five courses related to their chosen career concentration. Areas of study include accounting, financial management, information systems, international business, international economics, management, marketing management and taxation. The last segment of the program allows students to choose three breadth electives and an international business course. MBA students develop cross-disciplinary managerial skills. Team- and experience-based assignments give students a deeper understanding of complex issues and theories. eMBA@PACE Executive MBA The eMBA@PACE is an executive MBA program that employs an action-learning based curriculum. It is a hybrid program that combines online study with classroom residencies. Students work in teams to complete nine modules that focus on complex business problems. Each module is approximately 10 weeks and precedes a short residency on campus. The program is open to experienced managers and professionals. Master of Science Programs Unlike the more general MBA, MS programs are highly specialized. Full-time students can finish the program in three semesters over one year. Part-time students take two to three years. Advanced Graduate Certificate Program The advanced graduate certificate program offers individualized programs for participants who already hold an MBA or MS and wish to upgrade their skills, meet professional certification requirements or prepare for a new position. Certificates require 12 to 15 credits and generally take one to three years to complete. | |||||||||||||||||||
